To cultivate a skilled, united, and innovative workforce, vigorously promote the spirit of craftsmanship, cultivate a culture of craftsmanship, actively build a platform for frontline employees to showcase their skills, and create a team atmosphere, the Shimao Copper Industry Union organized the second "Red May" technology competition series from May 18th to 27th. This year's technical competition is divided into two major events: forklift skills competition and team morning meeting competition.

First project: Forklift Skills Competition

The forklift competition adopts two parts: theoretical knowledge questionnaire and practical operation to comprehensively evaluate the participants. The written test section tests the theoretical knowledge of forklift drivers, covering the key points of the company's "forklift safety operation" knowledge. The practical part tests the stability and proficiency of forklift drivers' driving skills, which is a comprehensive competition of speed and technology. The contestants took every step with a meticulous attitude, and the entire competition presented a fiery scene of learning and catching up.

After intense competition, Xu Shuirong from the warehouse department ultimately won the first prize; Guo Dinghua from the multi head drawing workshop won the second prize; Wang Miaoliang from the warehouse department won the third prize.

The forklift skills competition this time is also aimed at safeguarding safety and assisting business operations. Let employees truly feel that production safety is closely related to work and life, and promote the construction of the company's skilled talent team.

Second project: Team morning meeting competition

The plan for a day lies in the morning, and the plan for a year lies in the spring As a management activity, morning meetings can directly affect the morale and combat effectiveness of the entire team's teamwork. The content of the morning meeting is to summarize yesterday's work, deploy today's tasks, emphasize precautions, and convey the latest news. This competition is participated by eight teams designated by various workshops, storage departments, quality control departments, and Shunjiang Electric in the production center. With a loud greeting of "Good morning everyone!" and "Great! Very good! Very good!", the class leader began the morning meeting to promote and give a brief report on the efficiency, output, and target difference of yesterday's team. They also assigned daily work tasks and new instructions from superiors, warning safety precautions Some participating teams also praised outstanding employees, encouraged other employees to learn from them, actively strive for progress, and clarify job responsibilities.

After the recording of the competition schedule and the fair evaluation by the judges on site, the production workshop team of Shunjiang Electric won the first prize, the multi head drawing workshop team won the second prize, and the inspection department team of the quality control department won the third prize.

The purpose of the morning meeting is to improve the morale of employees, create a team culture, focus on brand culture, and enhance core competitiveness. Since 2018, Shimao has introduced a "quality centered" management project, initiated the morning meeting work system, and standardized the morning meeting mode.
