Ningbo Shimao Copper Industry Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001, originally named Ningbo Shimao Copper Industry Co., Ltd. The company is located in Binhai Industrial Park, Yuyao North Industrial Zone, Yuyao City. It is a copper processing enterprise specializing in the recycling and reuse of waste and scrap copper, and the production of electrolytic copper, copper rods, and copper wire. The various specifications of red copper wire produced are supplied to downstream enterprises such as wires and cables, home appliances, auto parts, and IT. After ten years of hard work, Shimao Copper Industry has developed into one of the top ten key scale enterprises in Yuyao City, a civilized enterprise in Ningbo City, and one of the top 100 enterprises in Ningbo. In 2011, its output value reached 4.3 billion yuan. Emergency Information on Environmental Incidents 

Emergency Response Plan of Ningbo Shima Copper Industry Co., Ltd.

SMC-QE-SC-2017 Revision and Filing Status: Prepared in June 2017, implemented from June 2017. An internal audit review meeting was held on October 14, 2018, and the plan is being further improved based on the internal audit opinions.

To properly respond to local or regional environmental pollution accidents caused by sudden environmental pollution or ecological damage, ensuring rapid and effective on-site emergency response and handling when an accident occurs, protecting the lives and property of people in the factory area and surrounding residential areas, and preventing sudden environmental pollution accidents.

The company organized a fire emergency drill in July 2016 and conducts environmental pollution accident emergency drills every year. The drills are uniformly organized by the Safety and Environmental Protection Department, which compiles the emergency rescue plan, determines the participants, units, and contents of the drill, and the company's emergency response team members assist in the drill. External support units, such as medical, safety, security, and environmental protection departments, also participate in the drill.

Other environmental information 

According to the calculations of the Environmental Protection Bureau and the Tax Bureau of Yuyao City, our company should pay an environmental tax of approximately 14,000 yuan per month and about 160,000 yuan per year, all of which are paid on time. 

The company strictly adheres to environmental protection laws and regulations, with an environmental facility operation rate of 100%. 

Annual environmental protection goals and achievements: zero fires throughout the year; solid waste is collected and classified for treatment, and 100% of hazardous solid waste is entrusted to qualified units for disposal; energy conservation; zero chemical leakage accidents; 100% of the three wastes are discharged up to standard. 

Since the company started production, it has invested over 30 million yuan in environmental protection. In the first half of 2018, it carried out clean production, rectifying water balance, electricity balance, and outdated and obsolete motors, etc. In response to the national coal-to-gas policy, the company currently uses liquefied natural gas and liquid oxygen as fuel, reducing the emissions of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides into the atmosphere. In October 2018, the company invested over 150,000 yuan to renovate and rectify the rainwater and sewage diversion facilities throughout the company. Regular self-monitoring and third-party monitoring of the three wastes are conducted at fixed times and locations. 

100% of solid waste is entrusted to qualified units for disposal.
